The Women’s Missionary Society is called to strengthen our faith and we are sent to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ by service and witness to the world.

Our Focus and Vision

We are called to empower women, embrace child protection, enhance spiritual, mental and physical development, and eradicate hunger in our world and communities.

Our Global Vision is to:

Build stronger global partnerships to enhance the significant foundation laid by our forerunners.
Birth new and innovative initiatives that positively respond to relevant 21st century and intergenerational issues.
Bridge the gaps for women in education, wealth building, health and wellness, and leadership in order to create a substantial global and intergenerational footprint.
Be a powerful force for advocacy and action.

About The WMS

The Women’s Missionary Society has a record 131 years of service committed to winning souls to Christ, health, economic, peace, and justice issues. The WMS hosts an annual conference at the United Nations every October at which members of the various agencies and components of the United Nations offer workshops and seminars on current global issues. The WMS has established a Foundation to support education through scholarships and social and economic development for the diversified constituencies we are privileged to serve.

There are a few groups housed under the WMS umbrella such as the Young People’s Division (YPD) and the Young Adult Members (YAMS). We continuously partner with non-profit organizations such as Samaritan’s Purse, The Balm of Gilead, Bread for the World and more to serve our local communities.
